The sad part in the world is not poverty, it’s the loss of Dignity

I have decided to do a deep cleaning out my wardrobe, and donate some of the clothes I no longer wear. However, after I’d skimmed through a mountain of unwanted clothes, I was not sure what to do with them. Why? Because while I have started with the idea of donating them, some were too stained or too worn out. Even though you don’t need your old clothes any more, it’s almost guaranteed that someone else will need them. There are many people in need of usable clothing. There are disaster victims, underprivileged people, and children in need of clothing, and your donations can help.

Do you have unused clothes, shoes, or outfits that don’t fit you anymore? Are you planning to donate those unused clothes out of your wardrobe, but don’t want them to end up in the trash? KVS Trust in Bengaluru can help you to deal with this. Our passionate team of associates collects these donations and will ensure that these reach deserving people. KVS Trust is an NGO that collects unused or reusable materials from willing donors and shares them with those who need them.

We accept materials such as clothes, bedsheets, and footwear. You can personally visit and drop off these materials at our NGO center near Yerappanahalli. KVS Trust also has other programs to help those in need. It adopts orphan kids, takes complete care of the needs of an orphan child right from education till the time they find themselves confident enough to get a job.

Our founder Dr. K.V Satish of the KVS Trust, states that he started based on his personal experiences as a child. “When I was a kid, I used to visit an orphanage to spend time with kids and give them my old toys and clothes”. He further explains that he did it consciously since he saw that these kids were equally talented and deserving. It was just that they needed someone to standby and support them to grow in life. He stresses, “I realized that if all of us gave what we had in surplus, it would make a huge difference to the world of orphaned kids”.

All the kids are part of the KVS Trust. The Trust is planning to add more kids in the coming months, along with employees, several volunteers, and partners across the city. Dr. K.V Satish wishes to be a role model for the common people. He never forgets to mention that “we have hardly spent any money in marketing and informs that the word-of-mouth has worked so well”. During the initial days of the launch of trust by Dr. K.V Satish, he did everything on his own without any marketing.

The success of DS-MAX Properties and five other business entities has created goodwill and made a difference. Dr. K.V Satish shares his thought about the difficulties of starting a business and charity trust. He mentions that running a traditional job and getting into uncharted territory was a challenge worth. You can call us and register yourself to be a volunteer.
